When you get home from work, put on your workout clothes before you sit down to relax.
You’re more likely to be active, whether it’s leaving to go to the gym, working out at home or going outside for a bike ride, if you go ahead and change into your exercise clothes.
It may seem simple, but if I add exercise time to my calendar, I am more likely to go to the gym. I keep my gym bag in the car, and schedule workout time when my work places me in the vicinity of the gym.
I try to bring shoes and clothes with me to work on days when I might have 30 minutes to take a walk or hit the gym. It makes it easier to fit in when an opportunity presents itself. Otherwise, I have to go home, change, etc.
