Holly Cooper Ford is a freelance writer and editor based in Atlanta. She received her journalism degree from the University of Georgia prior to moving to New York City, where she worked at Rolling Stone and Mademoiselle magazines. She was on staff at Creative Loafing Atlanta and then led the editorial team at Plow & Hearth catalog in Virginia prior to making the move to healthcare marketing in 2007. In addition to writing for the blog, Holly manages the UVA Physician Resource website, contributes regularly to Vim & Vigor magazine and writes a monthly UVA health column for the Daily Progress.
